Creative with Circuit TrainingGet Creative With Circuit TrainingBy Kelli Calabrese MS, CSCS, ACE Basically the definition of a circuit is continuously going from one exercise to another in a circular format. You can get creative with the circuits. For example, do a cardio circuit, a strength circuit or some combination of both. A sample cardio circuit might include marching in place, jumping rope, shadow boxing and stepping up and down on a step.
A cardio and strength workout would be some combination thereof. You might do a few strengthening exercises and then spend two minutes on a cardio station. Circuit training is only limited by your creativity!
